You want to give your child a magical story experience. But before you create a profile with your child's name, photo, and family details — you naturally want to know: is that data safe? It is a completely legitimate question. And you deserve an honest answer.

Yes, your children's data is safe in Flipr. We comply with GDPR and only store necessary information such as name and birth year to personalize the stories. We delete original selfies after use, never sell your data, and always give you full control to delete your information permanently.

What information does Flipr store about my child?

Flipr stores the following information when you create a profile:

The child's name and birth year — used to adapt the stories to the child's age and personalize the experience.

Avatar images — if you upload a selfie, it is used to generate your child's avatar. The original image is not stored after the avatar is generated.

Character information — names and types of the characters you create (family, friends, pets).

Stories — the generated stories are saved so you can read them again.

Payment information — handled by our payment provider and not stored on Flipr's servers.

Why does Flipr need my and my child's data?

Flipr uses your data for one purpose: to give your child the best and most personal story experience.

Yes — you can delete your account and all associated data at any time. This is done under Settings → Account → Delete account.

When your account is deleted, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Is my child's name visible in stories on Flipr's website?

Flipr publishes a selection of highly rated stories on fliprworld.com for inspiration. Before a story is published, it is completely anonymized:
