Terms of Service & End User License Agreement (EULA)

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using Flipr, you agree to these Terms of Service and this End User License Agreement (EULA). The service is designed to stimulate children's imagination and joy of reading, and every story generated is unique to the individual child. These terms cover both fliprworld.com and the Flipr app for iOS and Android.
1. Use of the service
Flipr is for personal, non-commercial use within a single family. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and children under 13 may only use the service under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Flipr app on devices you own or control, and to read, listen to, and print the stories and illustrations generated for your child. You may not resell, rent, decompile, reverse-engineer, or use the service to train other AI models.
3. Intellectual property
Flipr, our characters (including Flipr, Foxy, and the family), illustrations, audio, software, and underlying design are owned by Flipr ApS and protected by copyright and trademark law. Stories and images featuring your child may be freely used privately within the family — for example printed as coloring pages or shared with grandparents — but may not be used commercially or published without our written consent.
4. Your content and your child's information
You enter your child's first name, age, avatar choices, and optional interests, which are used as input to generate personalized stories. You confirm that you have the right to provide this information and that, as the parent or legal guardian, you consent to its use. We process data as described in our Privacy Policy and never share information with third parties for marketing.
5. Content and parental responsibility
Although we use intelligent technology and filters to create age-appropriate stories, we encourage parents to take part in the reading and creation process and to review content before reading it aloud to younger children.
6. AI-generated content
Stories, illustrations, and audio are created with the help of generative AI models. This means content may contain linguistic inaccuracies, repetitions, or minor errors. Flipr does not guarantee that content is error-free, and an adult should always skim a story before sharing it with a child.
7. Subscription and credits
Flipr is offered as one-time purchases (credit packs) and as subscriptions. Prices, renewal terms, and your right of withdrawal are shown on the pricing page and on the App Store / Google Play at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the store where they were bought.
8. Termination
You can stop using Flipr at any time, cancel your subscription, and have your account and data deleted via the data deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the service, or attempt to circumvent security measures.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Flipr disclaims liability for indirect losses, including lost data, lost profits, or damages that could not reasonably be foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms if the law, the service, or our pricing changes. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Flipr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes will first be sought resolved amicably; if that is not possible, they will be decided by the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret) as the court of first instance.
