Terms and End User License Agreement (EULA)

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using Flipr, you agree to these terms and this End User License Agreement (EULA). The service is designed to stimulate children's imagination and joy of reading, and the stories generated are unique to each individual child. The terms apply to both fliprworld.com and the Flipr app for iOS and Android.
1. Use of the service
Flipr is for personal, non-commercial use within a single family. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and children under 13 may only use the service under the supervision and consent of a parent or guardian.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Flipr app on devices you own or control, and to read, listen to, and print the stories and illustrations generated for your child. You may not resell, rent, decompile, reverse-engineer, or use the service to train other AI models.
3. Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights
Flipr, the characters (including Flipr, Foxy, and the family), illustrations, audio, software, and underlying design belong to Flipr ApS and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Generated stories and images featuring your child may be used freely for private family use – e.g., printed for coloring or shared with grandparents – but may not be used commercially or published without our written consent.
4. Your content and your child's information
You provide the child's first name, age, avatar choices, and any interests used as input to create personalized stories. You confirm that you have the right to provide this information and that you, as a parent or guardian, provide consent. We process data as described in our privacy policy and never share information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Content and parental responsibility
While we use intelligent technology and filters to create age-appropriate stories, we encourage parents to participate in the reading and creation process and to evaluate the content themselves before reading it aloud to small children.
6. AI-generated content
Stories, illustrations, and audio are created with the help of generative AI models. This means the content may contain linguistic inaccuracies, repetitions, or minor errors. Flipr does not guarantee that the content is error-free, and an adult should always skim the story before sharing it with the child.
7. Subscriptions and credits
Flipr is offered as one-time purchases (credit packs) and as a subscription. Prices, renewal, and cancellation rights are stated on the pricing page and by the App Store / Google Play at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled via the store where they were purchased.
8. Termination
You can stop using Flipr, cancel your subscription, and have your account and data deleted at any time via the data deletion page. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, misuse the service, or attempt to bypass security measures.
9. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, Flipr disclaims liability for indirect losses, including lost data, lost profits, or damages that could not be foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms if the law, the service, or our prices change. Significant changes will be notified via the app or by email at least 30 days before taking effect. If you continue to use Flipr after the changes, you accept the new terms.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes shall first be sought resolved amicably; if this is not possible, they shall be settled by the Copenhagen City Court as the court of first instance.
